All this will make you love Santorini more and you will come back to it.

In the town of "Akrotiri"

Our unique villas are located on the south side of Santorini, an area full of history.

By walking we can visit the prehistoric settlement - the city of Akrotiri, which reached the peak of acne in the 14th century BC. and which was covered with ash during the historic eruption of the volcano, remaining hidden until our days, when the archaeological excavation revealed to us, rendering it intact.

Still a few steps above, you find the Venetian castellum. A magnificent unparalleled view of the castle that dominates the area. It was built in the 13th century by the Venetians, who wanted to control the whole fertile geographical area of southern Thira as well as all the seas that surround it.

Walking through the narrow streets of the medieval settlement, you can enjoy its preserved architecture, as well as the tranquility of the place. Enjoy local and modern dishes at the traditional tavernas located around.

The Tower of Akrotiri in Santorini (Castellum)

The tower is located at the top of the castellum of Akrotiri, that is, in the center of the fortified settlement core that once existed in this place. Nowadays, a few fragments are saved from the castellum, while the tower dominates the top of the hill in a different form than originally, because of the serious damage it suffered during the devastating earthquake of 1956.

During medieval times, Akrotiri was one of the island's castella and was called La Ponta. During the Ottoman period, the tower was named Goulas (γούλας <κουλάς Turkish kule: "tower").

Our Architecture

Being faithful to the architecture and tradition of our island, we constructed the old traditional style using contemporary materials from Thira, such as local stone, marble, sham, giving the building a sense of luxurious and unobtrusive traditional residence with the most modern and functional amenities.

Walking through the alleys of the medieval settlement, you can enjoy its preserved architecture, as well as the tranquility of the place. Enjoy local and modern dishes at the traditional tavernas located around..

The beaches of Akrotiri

In Akrotiri are some of the best beaches on our island. On the one hand, the wonderful southern and windy beaches such as Kokkini Paralia, Aspri Paralia, Mesa Pigadia and Kampia and on the other side of the island are the beaches overlooking the magical caldera like the Caldera beach and Panagia of Balos.

Kokkini Paralia (Red Beach) because of the rock that covers it. Swimming in its clear waters you can admire its beautiful scenery.

Aspri Paralia (White Beach), named after its white colour, with crystal clear waters and white pebbles.

Mesa Pigadia and Kambia are ideal beaches for nature lovers and people looking for absolute tranquility. The whole area has undersea speleological formations for exploration enthusiasts.

The Caldera Beach. The beach has a beautiful view of the volcano and the caldera, ideal for relaxation. The view of the caldera makes swimming a unique experience.

The "Panagia of Balos" beach on the Caldera side is a quiet and small beach with an exceptional caldera goddess, Thirasia, the volcano. There are two small chapels, one built on a rock next to the waves.

The Caldera of Santorini

The Caldera of Santorini is one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the world. The endless blue of Aegean with the wild natural beauty of the volcanic rocks of the caldera and the white-washed houses of Santorini provoke awe and admiration.
